Durability, Reliability, and Ease of Use
When Northway Industries needed to purchase a new panel saw, they chose Schelling “because of its durability, it’s reliability, and the ease of use.” The combination of a Schelling fh6 rear load panel saw and vs12 storage system offered an automated panel logistics solution, eliminating the need to expand their facility. In addition to their two Schelling saws, Northway Industries runs two single-sided IMA edgebanders with PUR glue. “The original machines were purchased in 2003 and 2004 and have really worked around the clock across three shifts ever since,” comments O’Hara. Their most recent addition, an IMA Novimat Compact R3 with diode laser, allows Northway Industries to meet the high-quality demands of niche markets.
