Manufacturers are complex entities, with numerous intertwined processes.  To gain the benefits of a connected factory, with more customized products, more flexible manufacturing and faster delivery, you need to continuously improve and develop in all segments of the company.  Find out more from Lignum Consulting about the key segments of the connected factory!

10:00-10:45

MES software is all the rage these days. But what is it? What does it do? MES stands for Manufacturing Execution System. Basically an MES solution manages and monitors the progress of work (jobs) on the factory floor, collects real time manufacturing data from all important components (machines, robots, employees, etc.) and feeds that back to the office for analysis. This allows management to be proactive about delivering quality products efficiently and economically. We’ll talk about the software and hardware components of implementing an MES solution, with real life examples, and how it embodies many of the concepts of Industry 4.0.

11:00-11:45
